SADR STATEMENT REGARDING PETROLEUM ACTIVITIES

The Government of the Saharawi Arab Democratic has issued a statement concerning seabed petroleum exploration activities in occupied Western Sahara and in response to the February 2014 statement of Kosmos Energy Ltd.

The Government underscores once again that the Saharawi people do not consent to the exploration and exploitation of natural resources in occupied Western Sahara that is breach of international law
